The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FoAFCS) is at Nyankpala Campus in the Tolon District in the Northern Region of Ghana. It's about 15 kilometres west of Tamale, on the Tamale-Tolon road. It is the university's premier faculty, having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture. The faculty’s mandate, like all programmes run in the University, is to combine academic work with field practical in order to achieve sustainable agri-food systems in Ghana.
