At the close of Nomination on Monday September 18, 2023, two candidates, Prof. Edmund Muonir Der and Prof. Ibrahim Yakubu Seini were nominated to contest the election for Convocation Representative (Professorial) on the University Governing Council.
According to the Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, voting will be done on Monday, September 25, 2023, on all the Campuses, starting at 9:00am and ending at 5:00pm.
The registrar, while reminding Faculty Officers to pick the ballot papers and transparent ballot boxes for the elections from the Main Registry, called for the full co-operation of all Senior Members on the Election day.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FOAFCS), located at the Nyankpala Campus, is the premier faculty of the University for Development Studies (UDS), having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture.
