Ghanaian Resident In Kuwait Donates Books To The UDS School Of Medicine

As part of her commitment and dedication to education, Hajia Nafisa Abukari, a Ghanaian resident in Kuwait and a respected teacher at the RSS, Kuwait, Hawally, has made a significant contribution to the University for Development Studies (UDS) School of Medicine. On August 10, 2023, she donated a collection of valuable medical books, enriching the academic resources available to students and faculty alike.

The donation was done in the office of the Dean of the School of Medicine. The Dean, School of Medicine, Professor Stephen Tabiri received the donation. Present to witness the donation, were Senior Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Samuel Kombian and a Junior Assistant Registrar Madam Lois L. Dukper.

The Dean of the School of Medicine, Professor Stephen Tabiri experessed appreciation on behalf of the School of Medicine to the donors. He indicated that such donations will accelerate the growth of the University.

"Hajia Nafisa's dedication to advancing the medical education landscape is truly commendable. Her support will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our students' learning experiences and their potential contributions to society," Professor Tabiri remarked.

Hajia Nafisa Abukari's gesture reflects a deep-rooted commitment to the youth and the overall progress of Ghana. Her generosity serves as an inspiration to both current and future generation of students, encouraging them to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to the medical field and beyond.
