The Registrar of the University for Development Studies, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, has announced for the information of all Sandwich Postgraduate and Nursing and Midwifery freshmen and women that the Matriculation Ceremony to formally admit them into the University has been scheduled as follows:
Date: Friday, August 19, 2022
Venue: Andani Andan Academic Chamber
The Registrar says all Fresh Students are required to be seated at 9.00 a.m. Those who will be unable to join the matriculation ceremony physically can join online via the University’s Official Facebook and YouTube pages.
Freshers are advised to note that it is mandatory for every student enrolled in UDS for the first time, to go through the rites of Matriculation and sign the Matriculation Oath. Any Fresh Student who fails to avail himself or herself of the matriculation process will not be recognized as a student of the University.
The prescribed attire for the ceremony is formal dressing.
Forty-Four (44) Sandwich Post graduate students and Eight Hundred and Fifty-Eight (858) Nursing and midwifery Students respectively are expected to take part in the matriculation ceremony.
In attendance will be the Vice Chancellor Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye, the Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Ing. Felix Kofi Abagale, the Registrar Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar and other senior members of the university community.
The links to the online livestreaming will be made available on the University’s website on the morning of the event.
