The final lap of the 2022 “President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo – Addo Trophy (GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human)” happened this Saturday, 24 th September, 2022 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Barnabas, a National athlete at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham with a personal best record (10.23secs) turned up as the champion of the “Seniors (MALE) Final” of the event.
Barnabas Asante Aggerh, a level 300 student of University for Development Studies (UDS - Tamale) was a favourite for the race as Sarfo Ansah from UDS won the same event last year.
With a personal best record (10.23secs), Barnabas Kobby Asante Aggerh triumphed as Ghana’s Fastest Human for 2022 in the Senior (male) race where he finished a second earlier than his opponent Solomon Hammond.
