The Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, has announced that sixteen Senior Members of the University have been promoted to various ranks. In a circular, dated July 5, 2024, the Registrar stated that the Governing Council, at its 103rd meeting held on Friday July 5, 2024, accepted the recommendations of the Appointments and Promotions Committee, to promote thirteen (13) academic and three (3) administrative staff to the rank of Professors, Associate Professors, Deputy Directors of Finance and Deputy Registrar, respectively.

The individuals who have been promoted to the rank of Professors are;

1. Prof. Shamsu-Deen Ziblim 
2. Prof. Edmund Muonir Der 
3. Prof. Terry Ansah 
4. Prof. Eliasu Alhassan 
5. Prof. Haruna Issahaku 

Those who have been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor are;

1. Dr. Afishata Mohammed Abujaja 
2. Dr. Sylvester Nsobirc Ayambila 
3. Dr. Michael Ayamga 
4. Dr. Nashiru Sulemana 
5. Dr. Abdul-Rahaman Issahaku 
6. Dr. Vincent Kojo Avornyo 
7. Dr. Abdulai Abdul-Malik 
8. Dr. Gilbert Abotisem Abiiro 

ADMINISTRATIVE/PROFESSIONAL RANKS
The list also announced the promotion of three Administrative/Professional ranks including; 

1. Mr. Michael Dodoo, Deputy Director of Finance
2. Mr. Mohammed Fuseini, Deputy Director of Finance
3. Mrs. Eleanor Araba Antwi, Deputy Registrar
