The University for Development Studies (UDS) School of Business has welcomed a distinguished addition to its faculty with the appointment of Professor Collins Ntim from the University of Southampton Business School, UK. Prof. Ntim joins as an adjunct Professor of Accounting, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the institution.
Prof. Collins Ntim has an illustrious academic career, previously serving as the Deputy Head of School (Research & Enterprise) within the Business School at the University of Southampton. Throughout his career, he has held various academic positions at esteemed institutions such as Aberystwyth University, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Huddersfield. His extensive background includes roles as a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Full Professor, Associate Dean, and Head of Department. He is also the Vice President of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA)
The distinguished researcher, Prof. Ntim is recognized internationally for his contributions to Accounting, Finance, Governance, Development, and Sustainability. His research focuses on diverse areas, including Accounting and Governance, Accountability, Ethics and Sustainability, and Finance & Development. With over 100 published outputs, his work has appeared in prestigious journals such as the Abacus, Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, British Accounting Review, and many others, establishing him as a leading figure in the field.

The distinguished Prof also, serves as an editor, reviewer, and board member for esteemed academic journals, research councils, and conferences.
