The University for Development Studies (UDS) has announced the promotion of sixteen (16) distinguished members of staff to various professorial and equivalent administrative/professional ranks.
This milestone follows the approval by the University Governing Council at its 106th Meeting, based on recommendations from the Appointments and Promotions Committee.
Among those honoured are five eminent scholars who have been appointed on promotion to the rank of Professor, each representing a unique field of expertise and scholarly contribution:
In addition, eleven other academic staff members have been appointed on promotion to the rank of Associate Professor, a recognition of their significant contributions to teaching, research, and service:
