Members of the UDS Governing Council, led by the Chairman, Prof. Wayo Seini, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, toured the site of the collapsed 6-storey building on the City Campus.
Other members of the UDS Governing Council who were on the tour include Vice-Chancellor, Professor Seidu Al-hassan, Prof Francis K. Amagloh, Dr. Mohammed Mustapha Seidu, Dr. Sanatu Mustapha Alidu, Prof. Terry Ansah, Mr. ibn Yameen Lukeman and Mr. Musah Abdul Mugis. With them were the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Felix Kofi Abagale, the Registrar, Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar, the Director of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Hardi Shaibu, and the Director of Works and Physical Development, Ing. Samuel Abiku.
Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Seidu Alhassan had visited the site together with members of the UDS Management team. During the visit, he announced that Management was set to form a committee to investigate the collapse of the six-storey building.
