The University for Development Studies, UDS, has moved from a Data Reporter Status in 2023 to a ranked status in the 2024 Times Higher Education World Universities Rankings (THE WUR).
UDS is ranked 1500+ in the World and 4th in Ghana.
This move from Reporter Status to being ranked among the best in the World is a significant indication that the University is on course to achieve its aim of being a World Class University.
According to the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Ranking, UDS is 4th in Ghana and 44th in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FOAFCS), located at the Nyankpala Campus, is the premier faculty of the University for Development Studies (UDS), having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture.
