The National Executive Committee of the UDS Alumni has paid a courtesy call on the New Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Seidu Al-hassan. The visit was to formally welcome the Vice-Chancellor to the Office and to assure him of the unflinching support of the Alumni.
The NEC was led by the National President Prof. Terry Ansah, the Vice President, Dr. O.T Damba and other executives. The National President, Prof. Terry Ansah highlighted the contributions of the Alumni to the development of the University, notable among which included the construction of the edifice at the University’s main gate.
The Vice-Chancellor, for his part, assured Alumni of constant engagement and added that the role of Alumni to the development and management of the University is indispensable. He recalled that the former Vice-Chancellor had drawn his attention to the numerous contributions of the Alumni to the development of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor called on the Executives to reach out to dormant members to keep the spirit of the “Developer” alive.
As part of the visit, the NEC presented souvenirs to The Vice-Chancellor.
