The university for development studies center for Research Innovation and Partnership Services(CRIPs) has organized a 3 days training.The theme is Advancing Evidence-Based Research Through Randomized Controlled Trials(RCTs). Under the Vice Chancellor’s capacity building initiatives.The trainin is meant to strengthen the capacity of uds faculty on experimental research.The Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA) Director of partnerships Ms Sarah De Tournemire indicated that the UDS-IPA collaboration is a step in the right direction as both organizations are working on issues geared towards enhancing rural development. The country Director of Innovation for Poverty Action(IPA) Mr Salifu Amadu mention that this training program serves as the beginning of implementation of activities outlined in the memorandum of understanding (MOU) finished with the university and added that more collaborative activities will be carried out in the coming years. The Director of Center for Research Innovation and Partnership Services(CRIPs) Prof Awal Abdul-Rahaman thanked the Innovation for Poverty Action(IPA) and assures them of UDS full commitment to the success.
