The University for Development Studies (UDS) announces its April Congregation for all postgraduate graduands and undergraduate graduands from the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Institute for Distance and Continuing Learning on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Venue: Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus.
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Payment of Graduation Fee
All Graduands (Postgraduates and Undergraduates) are required to pay an amount of Three Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS350.00) as Graduation fee.
All Graduation fees should be paid at any branch of Ecobank, Prudential Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, Stanbic Bank, National Investment Bank and Access Bank before or on April 26, 2024.
NB: Graduands are expected to make full payment of all fees owed the University before their Certificates will be released.
Graduands attending the ceremony will be expected to make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals.
Dress Code
The academic gown should be worn over formal attire. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.
Rehearsals
A Rehearsal session will be done on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus at 3:00pm. It is obligatory for all Graduands to attend.
Collection of Gowns
All Graduands will collect academic gowns at the Stores at the Central Administration on Friday April 26, 2024. Graduands will be required to show evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before the gowns are issued. The gowns should be returned to the stores immediately after the Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so after a week will attract a penalty of Fifteen Ghana cedis (GHC15) a day.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FOAFCS), located at the Nyankpala Campus, is the premier faculty of the University for Development Studies (UDS), having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture.
