Background
Adinan B. Shafiwu (PhD): Is a highly self-motivated person with high passion for teaching, research and entrepreneurship. He is a Lecturer, a J-Pal African Scholar and a Researcher in the field of Agricultural and Development Economics. He has extensive experience in teaching, research and development work. He has taught courses in areas such as: Introduction to Microeconomics, Advance Economic theory, Mathematics for Economics, Intermediate statistics, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management etc. He has also held some key positions in the department such as the department examination officer and quality assurance officer. Most of his research is in the area of agricultural productivity analysis, Technology Adoption, Efficiency, impact evaluation of projects, Econometrics and economics of climate change. He has published over 20 articles in both international and National reputable peer review journals and has also presented his research findings in several local and international conferences. He is currently a member of the Ghana Association of Agricultural Economics.
