Addah Weseh (PhD) is a Professor in Ruminant Nutrition in the Department of Animal Science. He has been teaching and conducting research in forage conservation and utilization with particular interest in the conservation and utilization of crop residues for the past 20 years. His research area also includes compensatory growth of farm animals, and rumen and silage microbiology. He has published many articles in these areas. Prof. Addah teaches Ruminant Nutrition, Nutritional Physiology and Research Methods. Prof. Addah is also a Research Consultant to many international organizations including the Food Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). He has worked as a Research Affiliate for the Government of Canada at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre of the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He is currently the Director of the Directorate of Community Relations and Outreach Programmes (DCROP).
