Barbara Kwansema Arthur (PhD) is a lecturer with the Department of Soil Science in the area of Soil Physics. Her prior research experience entailed water, solute and colloid movements in soils pertaining to flow theories; as well as solute adsorption and desorption studies in soils. Currently, she would like to focus on gravelly soils of Northern Ghana in relation to their selectivity of nutrient elements as well as best practices for water retention.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FOAFCS), located at the Nyankpala Campus, is the premier faculty of the University for Development Studies (UDS), having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture.
