Clever Kwasi Apedo is a Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Food Economics, University for Development Studies, Tamale. He is an Erasmus Mundus Scholar having won the prestigious European Union Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to pursue his postgraduate studies. He is currently serving as departmental Third Trimester Field Practical Program (TTFPP) coordinator and teaches mainly at the undergraduate level. He provides instructions to both regular and distance students of the university in courses such as introduction to agricultural economics, development economics, microeconomics, farm management, project management, introduction to agricultural marketing, environmental and resource economics. His research focus is in the areas of agricultural finance, agriculture technology adoption and efficiency, food marketing and trade. Mr. Apedo has over three years working experience as environmental compliance officer in the downstream oil industry in Ghana which was sponsored by CIM/GIZ. His latest publication is titled “The influence of off-farm work on farm income among smallholder farm households in northern Ghana.
