Background
Emelia Guo (PhD) is a lecturer with the Faculty of Agriculture Food and Consumer Sciences in the Agribusiness department. I have over eighteen years of research experience and also as a lecturer in the University for Development Studies (UDS). I spent Eighteen years in The Institute for Interdisciplinary Research and Consultancy Services. (IIRACS). I hold an MPhil in agricultural administration and a PhD in Endogenous development studies. As part of my research I co-authored a chapter in the United Nations Human Development Plan (UNHDP) hand book, I was in charge of third trimester coordination for six years in IIRACS and four years as a welfare committee chair member whilst in IIRACS. Relevant research include: End-line Evaluation of Northern Rural Growth Programme (NRGP). Facilitated training workshops for women groups and was the staff in charge of gender issues in IIRACS. I am a member of Young Africa Women Congress (YWAC), Ghana Association of Agricultural Economics (GAAE) and Women in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (WiSTEM) UDS Branch.

Who We Are
The Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FOAFCS), located at the Nyankpala Campus, is the premier faculty of the University for Development Studies (UDS), having begun in 1993 as the Faculty of Agriculture.
