Background
James Fearon is a senior lecturer with the Department of Agriculture and Food Economics. In his long years of service with the University for Development Studies he has served in various capacities. A one-time Examinations Officer of the then Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, Faculty and District coordinator for the Third Trimester Field Practical Program (TTFPP), and the current Senior Hall Tutor for Union Hall. James has devoted a significant share of his professional practice to teaching courses in, and across other departments. He has gained extensive experience in his field of instruction including Agricultural marketing and Entrepreneurship. His recent activities include researching into weights/measures and product standardization on Ghanaian markets and consumer satisfaction issues. He also has interest in agricultural value chain management and its effects on local/national economies.
