Maxwell Akapali is Research Fellow with the Department of Animal Science and has been with the University for almost years now. Aside handling Non-ruminant Production and general animal production courses at the undergraduate level, he is in charge of the animal section of the university farm at Damango but also assists in supervising activities at the department piggery. His areas of research interests include; Alternative animal feed resources, pig and rabbit production, and animal behaviour and welfare. He also has an interest in ethno-veterinary medicine.
