Naomi Alareba Kandawini is a Lecturer of the Department of Agricultural and Food Economics. She has provided instruction in Principles of Microeconomics, Applied Statistics and Social Research, Macroeconomic Theory, Agricultural Marketing and International Commodity Trade, Principles of Microeconomics and Introduction to Agricultural Economics. Miss Kandawini has carried out research on various aspects of agricultural economics including Food Systems, Technical Efficiency, Agricultural Household Welfare, Credit Accessibility, Socioeconomic Impact of Sand Weaning. Her current research interests are Food Systems, Consumer behaviour and Household Welfare, Artisanal Mining and Macroeconomics Policy. Miss Naomi Alareba Kandawini has been involved in collaborative research and outreach with INSSPIRE, ISSER, USAID:ACDI/VOCA and DANIDA. She is also a member of the South-South Triangular Cooperation Network (Netherlands) and Food Systems Transformation Collectives.
