Samuel Appah (PhD) is a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Mechanization and Irrigation Technology. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in Agricultural Engineering (Jiangsu University-China), MSc. Agricultural Machinery Engineering (KNUST-Kumasi), BSc. Agricultural Technology (UDS-Tamale) and a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ (PCE-Kibi). Currently, Dr. Appah provides instructions in the field of Agricultural Mechanization at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the area of Agricultural Power Unit, Farm Machinery, Power Unit, Repairs and Maintenance, Agricultural Material Handling and Transportation, Agricultural and Rural Structures and Agricultural Materials Handling and Processing. He is also a co-coordinator for TTFPP in the department. He undertakes research in the area of operation, repair and maintenance of farm machinery; mechanical tillage practices, electrostatic application of surfactant-agrochemicals composite spray, plant protection engineering as well as design of farm machinery/equipment/implement and tools. He also has interest in hydroponics. Dr. Appah has published high quality articles in both Science Citation Indexed (SCI) and other international peer reviewed journals.
